holiday?

i'm wondering if today was some kind of holiday. maybe the schools were closed. traffic was unbelievably light. Thirty minutes road time. I know it won't be like that every day, but it was rather fun... no major gaffes on the road to report tonight.

i was also pleased with the temperature - a tad humid, but perfectly comfortable for riding. i hope that it's not raining tomorrow. now, why do i not have the little glove mounted wiper blade thingy yet?

tomorrow's voting day. i like voting. at least i don't live in ohio!
